Hmm spend my money on a PS5 or CB ???

So is this a 6 man team because non spenders won't get captain Briton. And we will still have a 5 man team?

I was reading the blog and now it makes sense it’s a 6 part team. Scopely says it’s for theory crafting when it actuality it’s “yeah if you don’t spend money you’re not gonna get that 6th member of CB. But we made a full team ! 🤪”

My guess is that because the original legendary unlock method went from paywalled to more easier to unlock F2P on 1st go they can't go back. Plus doing well in Blitz was part of that as blitz used to be an unlock method. So they had to find a scopely way(complicated) to unlock that let them control the unlock and entice whales to spend. The old method left most with a 2nd pass unlock BUT if you did well in blitz and hoarded resources and cores you maybe could unlock 1st pass unlock. But blitz favored older players who were willing to grind. This just favors whales.

So it's get the chosen characters to 5star to unlock? So it's the original legendary unlock method with extra steps. They do like to make things complicated.

Did anyone support this from the Envoys? If not what did Scumley say in response to the negative feedback? “Tough, suck it up and spend more” 😡 No one will really care too much about a defence team, but you can almost guarantee Capt Britain will be a Prof X requirement.

I like some of the team… and I don’t really care about paying for them… event if suddenly there is an “amazing” reward in crucible…. It won’t be worth 2 weeks food for my family

I do not like the way this sounds. As a endgame ftp player of 5 years or more, I continue to play this game because I'm able to unlock all new characters. Not having CB in Cc sounds bad on top of players starting get mephisto, I feel like that's gonna be hard to stay in my league yet alone advance. If I can't compete where I want n characters continue to be payed for, quitting is definitely on my mind. After 5+ years, that sucks.

So it's a three-man new characters team and a new tag to "reworked" characters.

Don't care how strong this team will be. I am not spending a single cent to unlock them. The only way I spend cores may be through events - refreshing energy, etc, as I usually do.

I watched 3 envoy vids so far about the new illuminati team as of now and i sense the lack of rage and disappointment from them. They were more livid before for lesser issues. It looks to me that this was run by them (heck some were even able to test it already) and they know something is in the horizon or maybe just in NDA that they're not panicking as much. Just my thoughts and speculations.

Just seems like they are bringing back the old ways of unlocking legendaries. Remember the old days where not everyone unlocked omega red on the first rotation of th3 event?

How is having a team at 5 stars to unlock a lengendary new. That’s how it always was. I don’t think that is a pay wall issue.

I predicted Illumanti would be a CC defense team when MOE was released. I guess we can at least expect them to get even better when Prof X comes

You only need the characters, at 3 yellow to get the Captain Britain Shields, not 5 stars. 3 Y get you to finish Chapter 2-1 that drops the shields. However, as you say, Hank Pym FTP event wont happen before the Team Showcase so we DO need to buy him, but only up to 3 Yellow.

Obviously Captain Britain's release method is trash but I am excited for Mr Fantastic rework. The rework for Black Bolt is disappointing though, he is still a Legendary and he should be good but won't be with this minimal rework

The one toon I've been waiting for since this I started playing. I won't even unlock him. Too bad cause some of their kits looked interesting outside of CC (which I only play cause I have to) Hoping I don't have to wait a year to unlock CB. Not that interested in a CC defense team.

I refuse to pay for any character in MSF. I push to unlock and let the shards fall as they may from there. Only character I’ve ever purchased was Silver Surfer and a week later I realized, there’s no need to buy. YOU CANT BEAT THIS GAME!!!! 😂🤣

You've literally been about the only reason I've continued to play this game, I was ready to uninstall when the OML event started. Playing a game shouldn't make you feel bad and thats all this game does now. It's clearly dying and wasting more money and time on a dying game seems silly af.
